About

In case you were wondering:

I’m a graduate student studying problems in computational neuroscience and machine learning at Columbia University in New York City. Technically, I’m in the Chemical Physics Ph.D. program.

I moved to NYC from Rhode Island where I attended the University of Rhode Island, majoring in Applied Mathematics and Chemistry. It was nice there. Lots of space, and green. Sigh.

This blog is an effort to make me document things I learn and follow through with the ideas I have about things like science and statistics and computer programming. I am on the lookout for new projects, especially collaborative ones, to teach me different skills, programming languages, statistical and mathematical techniques, and to introduce me to different domains of knowledge. If you have any ideas to share, please do!

In case you’re still wondering, check out my homepage.
